Consultation Call

A 30-min video call with Pooja to align on vision, ask questions, and confirm the scope and quotation.

Week 1–2

50% Deposit & Start

Upon deposit confirmation, Pooja begins. You'll receive 2–3 progress updates with photos throughout the process.

Week 2–4
04

Balance & Delivery

Final 50% balance due upon approval. Artwork is professionally packed and shipped with full insurance cover.

⏳Minimum 3-month lead timefrom confirmed start date to shipping. Complex multi-panel works may require up to 5 months. Lead time is confirmed at the time of consultation.

💰Quotations cover artwork only.Framing, shipping, import duties, and logistics are additional and billed separately at cost. An estimate will be provided upfront.

📋50% non-refundable depositis required to confirm and begin a commission. The balance is due upon completion and approval of the final work.

🔄Up to 2 rounds of revisionsare included. Additional changes beyond this are charged at ₹5,000 / $65 per revision session.

📸Pooja reserves the rightto photograph and share the completed commission on her portfolio and social channels unless explicitly requested otherwise.

Commission FAQ
How long does a commission take?

The minimum lead time is3 months from confirmed start to shipping. This covers creation time, drying time (especially for oil works), photography, and packing. Large multi-panel commissions or highly detailed portraits may take up to 5 months. Your timeline will be confirmed during the consultation call.
Are any purchases final sale?

We are unable to accept returns on certain items. These will be carefully marked before purchase.
Can I see progress during the commission?

Yes. You'll receive2–3 progress updateswith high-resolution photographs during the creation process — typically at the sketch/composition stage, mid-work, and near completion.

Do you paint from photographs?

Pooja works from high-resolution photographs provided by the client, plus any additional reference materials you share. For abstract or atmospheric works, photos of your space, palette references, and mood boards are more useful than literal image references.
What is the payment structure?

50% depositis required to confirm and begin the commission. This deposit is non-refundable as it covers the artist's time, materials, and reserved slot. Theremaining 50% is due upon completionand your final approval of the artwork, before it is packed and shipped.
Can I commission a gift for someone else?

Absolutely — and many of Pooja's most meaningful commissions have been gifts. Anniversary pieces, birthday and housewarming works are all common. If there's a deadline (e.g. a birthday), please mention it in the form so the timeline can be planned accordingly.
Do you ship internationally?

Yes — Pooja's studio ships commissions worldwide. All international shipments arefully insured at declared value, packed in museum-grade archival materials, and tracked door-to-door. Import duties and taxes at the destination are the buyer's responsibility.
What if I don't love the final work?

Because commissions are created specifically for you, they are not eligible for standard returns. However, Pooja's process — with multiple progress updates and — is designed to ensure you love the final work before it ever ships. In the unlikely event of a fundamental dispute, it will be resolved in good faith through direct conversation.
